Felt that Nexus 7 was the best Android tablet device with the price that anyone could afford? think again, because SmartQ has come up with a tablet device with a price just $50 higher than the Nexus 7 but a lot of specs better than the competitor. Not just the specs, but the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS is another added advantage in it. The SmartQ X7 has been launched with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and twice the RAM, and speeder processor than that of theNexus 7 from Google.
Having a price tag of $249, the SmartQ X7 has got a 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4470 Dual-core processor and the PowerVR SGX544 graphics, and it would run on the Android 4.1 OS. The 7-inch display has a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and the tablet ports a Mini HDMI port, with 2-megapixel cameras on both front and back of the tablet.
One of the other best features of the X7 tablet is the 4200 mAh battery which is surely going to give some good long hours of usage.

As to what the specs are saying, this would be a fierce competition to the present day best tablet Google Nexus 7 when even the pricing is taken into consideration, but we wouldn’t be able to comment until a hands-on experience is seen to judge the actual build and performance in the real world. What we’ve learned from users in China is that the company keeps itself apart from the other tablet manufacturers by taking all the feedback from users and releasing the regular bug fixes and firmware updates, and keeping this in mind we would surely see an update to Android 4.2 pretty soon.

Comparing the SmartQ X7 with the Asus Nexus 7 tablet from Google, the SmartQ X7 comes with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS but Google recently announced the Android 4.2 version, the one which the Nexus 7 is coming. But talking about Internal specs, the processor of SmartQ X7 clocks at 1.5GHz speed while that of the Google Nexus 7 clocks at 1.2GHz.
The RAM in Google Nexus 7 is of 1GB, while that of the SmartQ X7 is of 2GB capacity, and design wise there isn’t much of a competition we are seeing there but the back portion of the Nexus 7 tablet is excellent in feel, thus we would compare that only after a hands-on is done.

The main point for comparing the tablet with only the Asus Nexus 7 although there are several other tablet devices in the market, is the pricing. The Nexus 7 is priced at $199, and the X7 is at $249 while there are no other good tablet devices in the similar price range (except the Ainol Novo tablets which don’t show much development in the firmware later on).
It comes in multiple languages, and you can go to the official website for purchasing the SmartQ X7.
